***EDIT***

OK, I feel very stupid right now approximatly 30 seconds after I posted I figured it out, I thought it wasn't working but I just had to change a setting on the home directory tab in the website settings

***EDIT***

I'm a sysadmin of a public school and we are running a Mail/Webserver on Windows 2000 Box, we are using IIS 5 for the website and Imail 8.15 for the Mail, since both services are hosted on the same box the DNS entries look like this

www.website.com 111.222.333.444
mail.website.com 111.222.333.444
(MX record is also 111.222.333.444)

the webmail interface can be accessed at mail.website.com:8383 and www.website.com:8383 because the dns resolves both subdomains to the same IP address

if you visit mail.website.com you end up with the website, I want to be able to set up mail.website.com to redirect to mail.website.com:8383

I can handle a meta redirect but I'm not sure where to start on the subdomain, I have found documentation on IIS subdomains but nothing too detailed, any resources or help would be greatly apreciated.

Thanks,
