Default searching for files.....

start/search/files and folders.......typed in .wav but nothing came up. i know i have wav files so why are none being found? i have turned off the sound schemes and i keep gettin an annoying sound every so often thats unrelated to the xp sounds and i think its a wav file, just wanted to find it and delete it. thanks

i have done that already....still came up with nothing

start menu which would be same as right clicking on the drive in my computer

*.au
*.mp3
*.wma
*.mid

only mp3 and wma would bring results

just at random times. its the same sound
