Default search and help

hello folks

i am what you call a true pc dummy , and would like to run this one by yall.

well when i double click to open my (C) , (D) , floppy , cd-rom or my dvd/cd-rw in my computer i get the search results window.

this old man has been working on this problem for a week now . any help would be appreciated.
