Default screen resolution

In windows xp, for some reason when I set my resolution to 1024 x 768 part of the top of the screen is appearing at the bottom. So when I move my mouse up past the top of the screen it is showing up at the bottom. However, in a larger resolution this does not happen.

Do I need a new monitor or is this something I can fix?

Thanks!

Isnt it something to do with screen posititioning? So if its not right it wraps around and comes at the bottom think I had an old monitor that did that. I might be wrong. Have you tryed resizing using the monitor controls?

Sound right. What monitor do you have...? Does it have an automatic function?
