scheduled tasks

I want to use my computer as an alarm clock so that it boots up and plays music I have configured in schedule tasks for the computer to turn on and run itunes but I don't know how to schedule itunes to actually start playing at the moment I assume it will just turn itself on and run itunes.exe and then I will have to get up and click play. Any help would be much appreciated

I don't know much about the task scheduler or iTunes, but I was thinking maybe you could have it run a specific music file when you boot up, instead of opening up iTunes.

no its ok i have solved the issue with a program called alarm clock pro It automatically plays any media player at a scheduled time utilising the whole media library
