Scanning program not available

When I try to scan from my canon pixma all in one printer a window pops up asking to select a program to use. However there are no programs to choose from in the window. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and software for my canon and the same issue occurs. Anyone have any ideas?

What OS are you using? And were there ever any options or is this the first time you've tried?

have u tried opening a program than can use the scanner first then see if it detects it, and does the scanner come with some sort of installation CD? maybe the manual of the product can help u out

please try microsoft office document scanning! maybe it can hepl you.
