It says "not enough disk space" when I do

So I have an iPod and I'm transferring a 4gb video file into my iPod and my iPod has 20gb of free memory and towards the middle of the transfer an error pops up saying "Theres not enough disk space".

Is there any way to solve this problem? What do you think is wrong?

How much space do you have on your hard drive? To copy a file from one location to another, you must have an equal amount of free space on the source drive for cache storing.
