I have this problem that prevents me from accessing safe mode. When I get onto the log on screen in Safe mode, it freezes for about 3 seconds and then restarts my computer. I scanned for viruses with Norton 2005 and with the free online virus scanner (Trend micro).I don't know how to fix this problem. Please help. Thanks.(Windows Xp Pro)

You need to do a windows repair. Boot with your CDrom XP do a repair. It will reinstall windows and retain your current settings. you will have to do hardware driver re-intalls so make sure you have all your hardware drivers ready.
