Running a windows 95 game on xp

I there i have the game cricket 97 but i was wondering if i cud install it on a computer running windows 98 professional? is this possible i got told it wud work but not as good as the graphics wud not work.

It should work as long as the graphics card is recognized by the game. I have some old 95 games that i run on XP. I just run them in 95 or 98 compatability mode. With a 95 game on 98 it shoudl work easily. Not much changed over the couple years between those 2 Operating Systems.

It should work on Win98. Should also work on WinXP.

Btw, there's no such thing as Windows 98 Professional; just Win98 and Win98SE.

There is 98, 98SE adn 98+. I have that one also that has the Microsoft Plus included with the install.

Microsoft Plus is just some add-on. Nothing exciting.

Yeah but they did release it. So that has to be included.
