Run Dialog Box Win2K?

Whenever I try and run a DOS command, like Ipconfig, from the Run dialog box I see the DOS prompt window pop up for a split second and then it disappears. I can't run anything from it.
What the hell is going on?

Exactly.....as above...
The problem is that you are running "ipconfig" right from the run dialog box. From the run dialog box, type "cmd" (Windows NT, 2000 and XP) or "command" (Windows 9x, ME) and hit enter.
Now from the command prompt, run your commands.
