Hi I am new on the forums so well met all! 
)
Maybe you can help me with this one.
Windows Xp when it boots up gives that error in the subject.
What I have tried is..with XP cd goto the repair console.
Tried Chkdsk -r won't pass 1%
Tried Chkdsk same deal.
Tried fixboot and fix mbr no luck.
Tried bootcfg /default and says there is nothing in the ini and to use add.
Try and use bootcfg /add says os is corrupted run chkdsk (which doesn't run)
I also tried booting off the CD and tried to use the option to repair os by re-installing but it's not an option. Also says my partition is unknown. I can create one or format it.
Any suggestions out there?
