restoring the desktop skin on xp

while i was messing around with style xp and windows blinds i must have accidentally deleted something in the windows/resources/themes folder. does anyone have any info on how to get it back to the original skin?
Heres a pic of what it said when i tried to change skins

it says: An Exception Occured While Trying to run C:\WINDOWS\System32\shell.dll........
What is that supposed to mean and how can i fix it.

You can try windows update, or, running a repair install of windows...

Or Uninstalling the programs u used to modify it in the first place.
