Restoring this Acer laptop.. need help

So I'm restoring this VP's personal laptop and I have a slight problem. The machine was having serious problems so I drive erased it and installed XP. Its a acer travelmate 4400. I just got XP professional installed on it. Now that I have it set up and running. None of the internal drivers are present. It's not even detecting the internal wireless card. So I can't get online with it. I've tried searching for a restore disk for it but I can't find one short of paying for from possible bogus venders.

Any ideas or directions?

Did you check the Acer site before you installed XP to make sure that it had XP Drivers? They may not have offered XP Drivers for that model. So you might be out of luck and have to go back to Vista.
