how can i restart my computer to its original format. my original windows is WINXP Home Edition but now i have WINXP PROFESSIONAL.

i tried looking under programs but its no where to be found. and i do not have the recovry disc for my computer. i know there gots to be another way.
 
i tryed to install winxp home over it but it said it cannot because the version i have now is a newer one.
 
Hello,

You need to start with the XP CD in the tray and hit a button when it prompts to. You can not try to reinstall Windows from within Windows.

When you format you will lose EVERYTHING. You drivers, your personal data. All of it. So backup your stuff first. Drivers so you dont have to find them later. You data so you have it after you format.
