Default Resizing video (DivX)

I have an AVI video file compressed with DivX. I want to make it smaller (width/height). What program can I use for this?

VirtualDub.

http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/

From what I can remember you have to dig deep into the options to find the setting.

I used that to compress my movie, but couldn't find a resize option.

OK when it's open go to video-compression, and then select DivX and select configure, then click on the video tab and I think "Enable Resize" is what you're looking for.

I don't have that option. Maybe cause I have DivX 4.12 instead of 5.21?

Yeah I'm using 5.2.1. Maybe you need to upgrade.

I had a lot of codec problems some time ago, that's why I have 4.xx.
I will try to install 5.21 again.
