hi all,

can i re-partition the system (c:) disk?

my partitioned my 80 gb hd in two identical size, os and programs on c:, docs and datas on d:. now i want to resize c: into smaller chunk (there's way to much empty space there about 20 gb) using Paragon Partition manager, but it refused to either resize or add another partition to c:. is this by default or is there any other way to do it?

thanks in advance for any help

Carnage, do you feel that GParted is better than the partition manager within Windows ? That is the one I have always used (the built-in one). Obviously you must like it per your recommendation, but if so, why do you like it better ? Just curious

It's easier IMO; more GUI based. Should be able to just drag a slider across where you want for your partition sizes, whereas in Windows you deal more with numbers moreso, and makes it seem harder than it is, because you're dealing in MB and not GB.

Let me tell you first hand Carnage can help haha

GParted is a super easy to use program and it's very fast

pretty small too 95 mbs I believe
