Default Renaming Drives

Hi,

I was just wondering that if I rename a drive, like from Local Disk to Main Hard Drive, will it cause problems. I heard from somewhere that if you change the letter of the drive there could be problems so I am just making sure about this.

Thanks,
Ted

yeah changing the name doesnt cause any problems.. but changing the letter will make some programs not work properly.

Does anyone know if there is a way to rename a CD drive? There is no option to rename it, so I was just wondering.

Also, I accidently renaimed my floppy drive and now I don't know how to make a 1/2 fraction sign. If you know what I am trying to say, do you know how to make that fraction?

I see. Also, I figured out how to change my floppy drive name back so no one needs to answer that. Thanks for all the help.
