Default removing Start-up Items

Hello in order to speed up my computer i think ill disable some of the startup items
I think ill remove

nVmediacenter
nvcpldaemon
these are nVidia startup items
pctspk
i dont know this i think its related to the modem
CTFMON
i have no idea what that is


if any body already tested removing one of these please help

I disable everything but Anti-virus and anti-spyware

did u have the pctspk.exe and the CTFMON??

ctfmon i do, dont know about the other. I usually do it anyway to my customers and my machine. All I care that runs is the antivirus and the spyware programs. nothing else matters

Ill also see if it afftects my other problem

if you dont know what one of the items is, look it up here- http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php

or google it
