Default removing powerdvd 6 from vista

ive got powerdvd 6 installed on my vista machine only to find it incompatable. ive got a copy of powerdvd 7 but i cant get it to uninstall. ive tried the normal uninstaller you get with poweredvd, ive tried the add/remove and ive tried installing powerdvd7. all of them when you click to uninstall nothing happens. Its really annoying me. anyone got any ideas?

So the uninstaller wont work and the add/remove wont work. Your best bet might be a 3rd party uninstaller at this point. Maybe they can do what the application and Windows can not.

You can also try unlocker This will allow you to remove any file or folder. If it cant do it while in windows It will prompt you to remove the folder when you reboot. It works real good. Check on the site for compatibility with vista.
