Remove Search Active Directory

I work for a School District. Many teachers are going through 'My Network Places' and using the 'Search Active Directory' tool to see what groups are out there and who belongs to them. I do not beleive they should have access to this. My question. Is there a way to remove this feature? through GPO?

Does it really matter if they cansee groups or not, I mean, while I cannot give a solution, does it really matter or effect anything to do with security and worth purusing a fix?
