Hi people, just installed a new mobo and processor with an old hard drive with XP home already installed. Problem is I can't get XP to start, it just keeps going back to the warning page about "have you changed anything?" and then when I try any of the options, safe mode, last known good, etc. the computer reboots and it just starts again. Do I have to accept that I need to reinstall at this point or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance....

reinstallation would be the best if not only thing to do now. when you install your os it installs everything to work with the components you have there and the drivers and such are done accordingly. when you change certain parts it wont work correctly. after you reinstall everything should be fine. just remember to install your motherboard drivers and any other necessary drivers after youre done.
