Hi

I used Regtoy http://www.snapfiles.com/get/regtoy.html to tweak a few registry settings. In the process I 'blinded' the computer to 'shared folders'

The files are still there, but I can't access them with "browse..."
I'd like one (two if Admin is required) user accounts
Can I just delete or transfer the files from Documents and Settings? I have Windows XP Pro SP2.

As well, I had installed Download Accelerator Plus. I removed it via Add/Remove and now I recieve the following error message

Did you happen to back up your registry before you started playing with it?

Response

i clean the registry frequently, but for whatever reason i didn't simply do a system restore :-/
anyway, i just want a single user account.
i've contacted the builder of Regtoy about enabling Cyberlink DVD and Shareaza to see the C: drive and Shared Folders
they can be seen by Photobucket and Hotmail

any thoughts on how to delete the DAP folder?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/320081 Try a few things on here, to see if you can delete the DAP folder.

EDIT : With REGToy, can you not retract the settings from it?

If not, try this. Go to Run --> Regedit --> then go to the follow HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\DelegateFolders\

Right click on 'DelegateFolders' and click 'New --> Key'

Name it to "{59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee}" With out the "". See if that helps with accessing the shared folder.
