Talking Registry

I get "Error getting installation path from registry..." when i try to install some stuff into my PC. Whats this about?

Did you install it before? What program? Old version of the program? Where did you install Windows (C partition or somewhere else)?

Its actually quite new, Sims hot date, the expansion of the first sims..... I get the message when ever i attempt to install it.

Slide over to MajorGeeks.com and download TweakNow (http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4134.html).

Run it. Tell it to delete everything that it finds in the Safe part. Anything it says it is unsure of, look over. If it belonged to something that you uninstalled, delete it.

See if that helps.
