Alright, so I have another copy of Windows XP on CD. I have an infected Windows XP right now. I want to completely erase the old one and replace it with the new one on the CD.
I put the CD in, it restarted the computer and booted on the CD. Everything was going fine until it prompted me to select which partition I want to use for this copy. There is one partitioned space that has around 50000MB in use with around 33000 free. There is one unparitioned space, which has 8 MB.
I tried to select the paritioned space, but it told me I couldn't install 2 OSs at once. I tried to delete the paritioned space, but it said it contained files vital to the setup.
What should I do?
Nevermind, it wasn't booting directly from the CD. But now it can't format the partition because it says the disc is damaged!
