Default reformatting with windows

I tried to feromat one of my partition's lastnight and I recieved a "unable to complete format" error message. I restarted my machine and tried again and still the same. any suggestions ?

Try GParted. Google for it, download the ISO, and burn it to a disc with ImgBurn (unless you have software that can burn ISO images already). Boot off of the disc, and find the partition you want to format.

use powermax to delete it, then format
