Looking at the recycle bin logo on my desktop, the bin does not appear emtpy. But when I open the recycle bin window up there are no items in there (even if i have deleted files).
I then go to file and click Empty Recycle Bin and a little box comes up that says 'Are you sure you want to delete these 16 items?' Yes or No. To the left of this box is a little icon of a yellow folder with a white piece of paper with blue writing with a red X ontop.
It's been like this for many many many months. Nothing ever appears in the recycle bin... Yet I still have the option to Empty it and the same notice comes up all the time about the 16 items.
I think being unable to empty my recycle bin for many months is slowing down my computer. Any help? thanks!
