Recovery of a network password

I was given an IBM thinkpad t22 that had access to a company network server ( old company laptop) and the password was lost. How can I retrieve the password , I have tried all kind software recover disc with no success. I want to use the laptop to run a diagnostic automotive program, but can not get pass the Windows login screen. I have tried ophcrack , Nri soft, password viewer, and many others. Can you one out there help me with this problem?

Or do I have to start over and load a Windows XP program and clean the hard drive?

Please do not tell me about using Adminstrator - it does not work for this computer.

Some companies disable the local admin account and create a new one. Boot the laptop with bartpe and see if there are other local admin accounts.
