Hi, I need some special attention concerning this issue:
I boot up the computer and I see this message:
Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
So, I boot the PC up to the XP pro CD. The first option I come to is where you press "R" to use the Recovery Console.
I press "R" and it takes me to a screen that asks me the following:
1: C:\WINDOWS
Which Windows installation would you like to log onto
<To cancel, press ENTER>?
This is where I got stuck. I need to be guided through this step by step please!
