Recording Games?

I find that when I play games, every once in awile something very intense and cool happens. Is there any software that maybe like you can record like 30 seconds of gaming? If there is anything like this please tell me. Thanks

yes there is: that is used to record games (i'm not a gamer, but I have my friend who had recorded this by this software)
