wrong section buddy...put it in the Anti-Virus area...

i have pc-cillin 2005 and it works like a charm :) no hassles for me :)

Why stay away from AVG? How do you decide which one to have and which one to stay away?

Im guessing he had 1 bad expericne with AVG and doesn't like because of that.

AVG rocks though.
also Avast is nice I just don't like Avast's interface.

I've never had any problems with AVG whatsoever. I also use the Bitdefender/Panda/Housecall online scans from time to time.

I've been using AVG, had one too many virus slip past McAfee and Norton. That's not to say it's bad, I just haven't seen any performance. Now, Sophos is excellent, especially under a Novell network :D

Ya I don't like avg either because one time my computer was acting all wierd so I scanned with avg and it found nothing but when I went to trend micro housecall it had 15 infected files that avg couldn't find.
