receiving automated e-mail messages in my hotmail account.

Hi, my name is jay.

I am receiving mails of size 181KB, a lot of them,
from different ids, even from the ids that are in my address book.
I cannot block them since this mails appear to come from_ids of my friends.

They contain some attachment, (probably virus) and the message part contains some three image placeholders named photo1, photo2 and photo3.

but really nobody is sending me such kind of mails.

some kind of automated programs are running that

they are coming back again and again at regular intervals.
and in a day i am receiving roughly about 10 mails like this.

Is there any solution to this prob., whether anybody have seen this problem earlier in hotmail.

try using outlook express or microsoft office outlook. They will block out spam.

Also consider download some type of SPAM filter

In fact i am using outlook express 6.

i cannot block the ids, since it shows the ids of my friends in my address book.

the only thing that is similar in all these useless mails is the size 181KB

Change your email address or check hotmail and see if you can filter the names out.
