or you can delete it but burn a copy of firefox or whatever you use. But I wouldn't recomend it as well, bad bad move!

oh crap, your right, i cant do windows update right now and my system is acting wack.. how do i get IE back? T_T?

If you have your windows install disc you may be able to put that back in the drive, and go to the add/remove programs control panel applet. From there it might be under "windows components", select to re-install it. That might do it. There are other ways to if that does not work.

Also keep it on there even if you use another browser. Its just not good to remove it because its like the core browser. Just choose not to use it as your default browser.

One more thing...... windows safe mode is ALWAYS the "F8" key.

No matter what system board, or wether using Windows 98, 2000, ME, or XP. Its always going to be F8!
