Needing help here any suggestion will be welcome. Have a computer and the mother board in had to be replaced but now that it has been replaced we are having troubles here is what is happening we try to run xp and the message that due to a hardware change windows did not start properly and needs to be activated when we log on and try to do this the message pops "would you like to activate windows" click yes or no when we click yes another pop up comes up that says "windows has been activated" and to click ok .......now the comptuer can be booted in safe mode.....my question is this how can i deactivate windows to reactivate it again and yes we called mirosoft and they suggested buy another copy of windows xp but sheesh why should we we do have a legal copy sent with the computer which is an emachine thanks
