did NOTHING it happened again, only even sooner, this time i noticed a blue screen, but it only appeared for a second, then my computer restarted. here are the details of this error.

3. in safe mode ,run regedit.exe to scan and search you register table for those two files, and del the key assignments

if it did nothing as well , you can try :

My computer - right click - System Properites - Advanced - Startup and Recovery - click the setting btn - uncheck automatically restart.

anyway, check the free space on your disk C.

i haven't done that yet, because i couldn't find the file, but that might just be because of my noobiness,i opened regedit, then i went edit ---> find then typed in the file name, found nothing, for either of the two files. i have 10 gigs of free space on my C drive, and i'll do that system properties right now, thanks for the help! Can i maybe add you to msn?

Default WELL THEN

well, now that it doesn't restart when it comes across this error, it comes up with a blue screen, here is some info that it showed:

MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

and then

anyone know what this means?

I've the similiar problem, My PC always restart when I connect internet and open winamp, or word, or media player.
If I don't open winamp,word, media player, and only connect internet and browsing, the PC didn't restart...
why is this happening ??
I'm using dial up modem D-Link, with XP SP 2
I've tried the above method to delete the .tmp file, it doesn't work

I've tried re-format & re-install windows, and it still doesn't work.
always restart when I conenct internet and opening winamp...
