i have 2 hdd's, my main hdd and a second hdd installed but not yet partitioned. when i partition it...
A) should i remove any page filing from my main disk?
and
B) should i use the 2.5 x RAM or set it to a much higher number (since it isnt used for anything atm)

My options are primary or extended, i guess extended just allows me more volumes

thanks :p

Move the page file from the main HDD to the secondary HDD (better performance).

I just set the page file to 4096 and call it good.

I'm with him. before you partition it, make a 5 gig partition at the front of the second drive and call it your swap file

it might be an increase in performance, but it would be so small that you couldn't really test it.

Agreed, it'd just be more of taking up space. If you have the HDD space, go ahead if you want though.
