question involving folder lock and file recovery

Hi,

I've been using the program Folder Lock for a while now to keep some documents i dont want anyone else reading private on my computer, and today i was shocked to log in and find the "locker" empty. The things in there had some sentimental value so i went and got Recover My files, and sure enough, the program located all my missing stuff, the text shows up in the preview function for the program, but when i try to recover the files they come up all scrambled because of the file protection.

Does anyone know any way around this short of re typing everything from the preview window in Recover MY Files?
It wont let me copy and paste.

well there's a free program called Open Office (www.openoffice.org) that can help you open up corrupted or otherwise messed up word files, and that did the trick.
