Question about Windows XP

for the last 2 days everytime i turn on my computer when windows loads it doest go straight to the desktop it stays on the welcome screen asking me to login, i dont have a password setup on my account. and just now i looked at my account settings and i saw that i have another account created but i dont remember creating it at all, the name of the account is ASP.NET Machine A its password protected. so i was wondering how this account got created and how can i set it up so it just goes to windows without asking me to log in. thanks in advance

That's from the .NET framework Windows update. You can delete it along with all its files.

Start>run>control userpasswords2

Uncheck the box for login and yoru all set. Loads to desktop everytime.

If you do any kind of .NET developing you need that asp.net account there so don't remove it unless your don't plan on doing any programming with ASP.NET. The account runs a worker process to enable your computer to process ASP.NET commands on a local server. Otherwise you can delete it, it is just a byproduct of the .net framework 1.1 install.
