Personally i would like to set up every computer I build with a restore point so i can easily attempt to put computer back to factory defaults.
Over all, I would like to recreate 2 Restore Points (Maybe 3) during installation.
RESTORE POINT 1 - FRESH INSTALL - This is created when I finish installing with Win Xp.
RESTORE POINT 2 - DRIVER INSTALL - This is created when I finish installing all the drivers for the hardware (peripherals not included)
RESTORE POINT 3 - ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE - This is created after I install any additional software (Eg. Office, AntiVirus, Etc)
The problem that i have been noticing that Win Xp seems to only keep a the last few restore points.
Question 1. :- A what stage does windows Xp erases the restore points that you have recreated?
Question 2. :- Is there any way that I can keep these 2 (3) restore points indeffinately?
