hi guys, quicky for you, just built me a new pc and i am wanting to check system temps ie HD, MOBO,Processor ect ect. what is the best way to do this when logged into windows and what sort of temperatures should i be happy with? full load temps? Normal load temps and minimal load temps?

cheers guys

Motherboard Monitor 5. ;) It works well. Not too sure on what temps, really depends on your 'average' temps, since every room has a different temp, and every computer has different ways of cooling.

Check my sig for a program called everest. Once install open and click on computer then sensor, it will display your CPU, GPU and hard drive temps also your voltages.

For average temps Id say:

CPU:30-45C (unless P4 which can have higher temps of 50-70C)

GPU:60-85C (idle temps, but on full load 85 idle might be worrying as it could go beyond 110C and cause artifacting)

HDD:30-50C (hard drive temps can be misleading I have one running at 55C for a year now with no problems but manufactures say below 50C)
