Default Project Management Software Recommendations??

I am an IT guy for a development company who has about 4 developers, 2 sales and an acquisitions person (more employees coming soon). I am looking for a good project management software. Something that works and is relatively easy to use and cheap. Right now I have the Microsoft Action Pack and have Microsoft Projects and was told it isn’t that great of software.

Since I have not used a lot of Project Management software, I want to know what you guys think is the best thing to try to use and implement. What has worked for you and what hasn’t?

Thanks in advanced!

I use M$ Project 2003 combined with my tablet notebook with M$ OneNote to keep track of things. Personally I have never used anything else beside M$ Project.

Who said Project isn't that great of a software? All the Project Manager that I know use it, I haven't heard a complaint from any of them. M$ Project is easily integrated with M$ Office software such as powerpoint, visio, outlook, word. Making the work effortless in my opinion.
