I noticed if I leave my pc booted into Vista 5536 for a day or so, some of my programs refuse to work, noteably AIM. It seems to run, and is even listed as a process when I ctrl-alt-del it, but no window will appear. Any ideas?

I'm installing 5600 tonight, so maybe that will fix it, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this happen...

Rember Vista is a Beta OS. Not everything will run as it does in XP.

In 5600 i let my PC go all night and i had to reboot it cause when it woke from sleep mode it was slow. Only a reastart helped it out.

This is why it is for Testing purposes only. It wont act the same way that you expect it to. ;)

Makaveli213 said everything......"for testing purposes only"...... nothing is 60% normal in beta version....

Sometimes sounds at lot better wait for the final version and save your brain to be fried...

be cool

Well, I can't say whether or not RC1 is more stable than pre-RC1, but it is quite a bit snappier in some ways. It uses a little more RAM than Pre-RC1 did (780mb vs 606mb at first boot), but the visual performance speed gains so far are pretty nice. I'll just wait for the final build for now... back to XP I go.
