Program recommendation for monitoring logins in Windows 7

Hey guys,
I was wondering if theres any program that you can recommend for monitoring logins. For example, I want to know when someone logged in and at what time and also if theres any that tell how much time was spent, but mostly more interested in the time and date logged in.

You can also setup local policies, but I think outside of server you're only going to be able to see failed attempts and successful logins.

Another quick and dirty option would be to create a script that runs in a users startup folder. That script could send information on user, time and date. As for the log off i'm not 100% sure if you could do that for log offs.

Also depending on the OS you are using parental controls in Vista and Windows 7 are pretty powerful, you can select when they can log in, what websites they can go to and what games / programs they are allowed to use (if the end goal is to monitor a child or to control users).

you could run the script as logon and logoff script in Group Policy.

the more ideal solution is to enable auditing for logon event, but they are a pain to decode. logon audit records the events to security log in event viewer.
