Unhappy Problems running 3DMark 2005!!

I just installed 3DMark 2005 and the patch and whenever I try to run anything it comes up with the following error:

Direct3DDevice9::CreatePixelShader failed: Invalid call (D3DERR_INVALIDCALL)

I have the latest version of DirectX so I'm guessing I just have some incompatible hardware or something. I'm sure my hardware meets all of the requirements for 3DMark, not completely sure about the video card(GeForce 4 Ti 4200). Any advice would be helpful.

I think its because your card does not support DriextX 9 which is a minimum requrement for 3DMark 2005.
