Problem with WiFi on P5K Deluxe in XP X64

Hey guys, just got my asus p5k deluxe (onboard wifi) and I cant seem to connect to my network with it. It just keeps looking for an IP address, i have 3 other computers successfully connected to the network wirelessly, and 2 wired.

I looked for other drivers on the asus site to no avail.

What now?

Okay, so i got it to connect, but not only is it the SLOWEST internet connection ever, it drops the signal frequently, and it is right next to my other pc which has absolutely no problem and has excellent signal strength.

can someone please help me
