Problem w/Windows Explorer!

hi all!
Rite now i need to renew my subscription to Norton-Antivirus.
Im gettin problems w/Windows Explorer! (not Internet Explorer) i cant seem to copy/paste stuff and i get errors [sometimes] wen open folders/files! just seems suspiciously like a virus/bug is in the application!

PS. can u download a clean Windows Explorer from Microsoft or somewher? Thanxx

run sfc /scannow from start|run. this will check the integrity of your system files.

you could reinstall the os over your current installation but you'll be forced to reapply the lastest service pack and windows updates.

what error do you get?

huh? SFC? SCANNOW? it doesn't reconoze the scannow @ all and SFC it opens a dialog box 4 a split sec and disapears! and ill put the error on here as soon as it pops-up again! ty

gizmo90, DON'T... there are better ones and they are free or cheaper.

Now that I've said that, I'll say this...go here: http://www.techist.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34713 and follow those instructions and then post the HiJack log in this forum: HiJack Logs (analyze) and one of the log readers will get to it as quickly as possible.

Make sure to write it this way:
sfc /scannow
Not like this:
sfc/scannow

Windows Explorer is not an application just 2 let u know. It is just browsing your folders. You can double click any folder and choose the "folders" button at the top.
