Angry Problem with Nero/ulead CD burning

I'm havinga problem with nero and ulead software... I not sure whats going on.

When I try and burn a disk from my hard drive to CD it only goes so far and then stops with nero, and with ulead i am getting a generic error, saying it can't proceed.

I have Pioneer dvd/CD burner that burns anything I put in it and enough memory and hard dirve space. So I'm not sure what the issue is.

It happens no matter if I try and burn an mp3 disk or a CD audio disk.

so any help would be appreciated

thanks
J-

Default

ill need some screenshots & the nero logfile in order to figure this out , insert a blank cd and run nero infotool get into "disc" tab and take a screenshot also take a screenshot of the "configuration" tab, however if you got alcohol 120%/clonecd installed then before you do the screenshots change this setting. in alcohol make sure "ignore media type" is unticked in options or in clonecd make sure "hide cdr media" is unchecked in tray icon , goto the nero folder and open nerohistory.log with notepad and copy & paste the last two and do not include the serial number
