Problem, Need Help!!!

ok so if i do a repair all of my settings and start menu itesms will be there? and anothe r thing that i have noticed is that in the even viewer i have been gettin the TCPIP warning alot. This symbolizes a virus or worm i think. but i have done several virus scans using various software. o well nevertheless i will start the repait now on my other computer

This is probably a really dumb question, but for when i get done is there a program that will go through and add to my start menu the programs shortcuts that i lost. Just wondering lol
