Default Problem installing XP on a Laptop Harddrive with no cd/floppy drive. HELP!!!

I have just formatted my laptop harddrive (dunno the actual name for it) and i hooked it up to a laptophd-usb adaptor and hooked it up to my desktop computer. I have gotten a fresh copy of windows xp pro on the harddrive, however i'm having trouble getting it to boot.

I need a way to get XP to boot on it. I know i might be doing something wrong, but anyone can correct me; i'm just trying out stuff. But this could be a waste of time. So i need to get XP working without wasting too much time. Thanks for any of y'all help, if any.

If I were you, I'd try and get ahold of one of the 2 devices (CDRom or Floppy) - You will need a floppy in order to boot and run the setup. Or just boot off a CD...

This link may be of some help (but u need a floppy)
