well, mine froze like that but it was only for a min then it went on and installed just fine.
we have similar mobo's and when mine froze like that those lights (called phaze lights) all of em lit up for like a min while it was froze and then it unfroze lights went off and it continued with install.
you could try turning speedstep off in bios and C1E. other than that sounds like you might have a corrupt download.
and run memtest86, just to be sure your ram is not bad, also update to the latest BIOS.
