Problem with installations, it just stops installing.

I have had this problem for a while now, and another game has had this sam problem. When I try to install FIFA 08, MotoGP08, Need for speed pro street and Need for speed carbon the installshield wizard just stops installing. At one point its going fine but the next it stops on one file for hours and doesnt move after leaving it for a whole day. I have installed many games and programs before and after i discovered this problem and my PC is otherwise fine. I have gone through Osiris anti spyware guide but the problem still exists.

My PC is running Vista x32 and most of the games mentioned have specified support for Vista. I have no idea whats happening and cant find anything about it on other forums or on search engines. Please help!

Check to see if you have the latest Windows Installer 4 or 4.5 for Vista I beleive, if your not sure, downloald it again and reinstall

Have you tried manually installing from the disk or copying all files to HD and then launching it?
